There are many ways to show love and choosing to give financially is an important way to ensure the longterm success of the projects and initiatives that truly lead to change. Your donation will be utilized strategically to increase our efforts to make long lasting change in the lives of Black birthing families in Chicago.
Volunteer With Us!
One of the key ways we advance our mission is through our Love Packages, carefully and intentionally created care bundles designed to support parents beyond their essential needs. Packages are free and are distributed monthly to BIPOC families across the Chicagoland area.
LPP counts on volunteers in our community to coordinate package distributions, and create a welcoming and warm environment for families as they pick up their packages.
Volunteers will:
• Distribution volunteers will be reflective of the families we serve
• Commit to 1–2 days per month
• Organize, manage, and track in-kind donations and inventory
• Assemble and distribute the Love Packages
• Join a vibrant, supportive community of families, parents, and allies
• Have a commitment to the families we serve
